If your phone number, email address, or mailing address has changed, please let our office know by sending an email to info@thepittmanlawoffice.com or calling our office, 352-399-6944. Having accurate contact information helps us reach you when needed, communicate important information about your estate planning needs, and verify your identity when handling certain requests.

An important note about email addresses: If you request copies of your estate planning information and your email address does not match the one we have on file, we may need to verify your information before releasing copies. This is one of the ways we work to protect your privacy.

New PLO Authorization to Release Copies

A New Step When Requesting Copies of Your Estate Planning Package

We want to help ensure that your private estate planning information is released only as authorized.

Pittman Law Office now requires clients to complete an Authorization to Release Copies of Estate Planning Documents when requesting copies of their estate plan.

The Authorization form allows you to specify which copies may be released, who may receive them, and whether you prefer paper or digital copies.

Please keep these important details in mind:

• Copies only: This Authorization form applies to copies. Pittman Law Office does not hold your original estate planning documents.
• Required for each request: You will need to complete an Authorization form each time you request copies.
• Protecting your privacy: Because your estate plan contains private personal and financial information, the authorization form helps us release copies according to your instructions.
• Identity verification: We may require photo identification and may verify a request by calling the phone number we have on file.

If you need copies of your estate planning package, please contact our office by sending an email to info@thepittmanlawoffice.com or calling our office, 352-399-6944, and we will provide the Authorization form for you to complete. Thank you for helping us maintain the privacy and security of your information.

Get Ahead Before the Year Ends

As the holiday season approaches, schedules can fill up quickly. November is a great time to review your estate planning needs and discuss any changes you may be considering.

Current clients can schedule a phone call or an in-office follow-up meeting with their attorney.

• Phone call: Typically 15 minutes and complimentary.
• In-office follow-up meeting: 30 minutes, with a $200 fee unless you proceed with making updates to your estate plan.

At Pittman Law Office, many estate planning updates can be completed in approximately 3 weeks from the time you speak with the attorney, depending on the complexity of your plan and your responsiveness throughout the process.

Don’t let the end of the year sneak up on you! If you have changes to discuss, give our office a call to schedule a time with your attorney.

As we head into the Thanksgiving holiday, please note our adjusted office hours:

• Wednesday, November 25: Open from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM
• Thursday, November 26: Closed for Thanksgiving
