My Neighbor Said….

My neighbor told me _______________________, and you fill in the blank. Sometimes well meaning neighbors provide ill advised guidance. Everyone’s situation is different, whether it be family dynamics, assets, or overall estate planning goals. We are here to help you make sure that those helpful neighborhood tips are useful in your specific situation.

We have a lot of Clients tell us that their neighbor told them they need a Revocable Trust because of probate or all they need is a Last Will and Testament. When we meet with Clients, we are specifically asking about the type of assets they have, how the assets are owned, who their beneficiaries are, and how they want the beneficiaries to receive their assets. All of these issues play a role when we are determining what the best estate plan is for you. Both Revocable Trusts and Last Will and Testaments can be effective estate plans. However, it depends on your specific situation. If you have any questions regarding the above information, please reach out to Pittman Law Office.

If you are a current client of Pittman Law Office, please let us know if you have moved or changed your phone number or email. We want to make sure we have current contact information.

Do You Want To Host a Mortality Party?

Mortality Party (informal discussion on Estate Planning)

If you are interested in hosting a mortality party, please let us know. The idea is the host would invite 6-8 of their friends and Attorney Audra M. Platt will come to the host’s home (or driveway so we can social distance) to discuss Estate Planning and answer any questions the guests may have about estate planning. Audra will bring the pizza and beer. Contact our estate planning paralegal, amyrose@thepittmanlawoffice.com, for more information and to schedule a fun, educational event at your home.

Point of Interest

We had a wonderful time at CWs Gin Joint in Tampa celebrating our Estate Planning Paralegal, Amy Rose Peck’s birthday a few weeks ago. It’s definitely worth the drive to Tampa.
