Newsflash

As I outlined in the last month’s Newsletter, my staff and I are taking every precaution to keep you safe when you are in our environment. We will continue to disinfect our conference rooms and practice social distancing. As this situation continues, we are here to provide assistance to our clients, including remaining open and accessible.

May is a great time to stop and review your estate planning needs. Do your children know that you have an estate plan, and where you keep your important documents, and how to get in touch with me should it become necessary? I provide all of my clients with a Personal Information Handbook which can serve as a great guideline for getting organized. If you do not have one, call the office and my staff will email you a copy. This tool provides you a place to write down useful information that your spouse and/or your children will need should you become incapacitated and when you die. It is ideal to have a list of your assets, and how those assets are titled, and whether beneficiaries are named on those assets as well as a list of your expenses and how those expenses are paid. And don’t forget to include your passwords.

Have a fun summer and safe travels for those who are traveling.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers!

Here is another TedTalk for you about slowing down which I’m sure a lot you have not enjoyed doing nothing while we have been sheltering in place. Personally it has been a blessing since I’ve been able to spend more time with family. However, I think my kids would like to have some time away from us at this point. I’m hoping all of you are staying safe and taking this time to slow down.

Elle and Reed have been pretty good considering that they are with each other all day, every day. It is so sweet when you catch moments of them being nice to each other.

Hunting eggs on Easter wasn’t the same this year since there were no cousins to compete with but they still had fun. Fortunately for me, my kids currently only like two kinds of candy, Starbursts (pink only) and Skittles so I had it pretty easy filling eggs.
