Wishing you a season full of joy, renewal, and confidence in the future!
PLO’s First Annual Estate Planning Summit
Last month PLO announced our first annual estate planning summit scheduled for Friday, May 2nd. We are excited to say that seats are filling up quick but we still have room for you. Check out this video from Attorney Amy Pittman to learn more about our Summit. Call the office to RSVP.
This exclusive event is designed to give our clients insights into Wills, Trusts, and all of the accompanying estate planning documents. This should be a great refresher of the Basics of Estate Planning. We will also walk through the legal process of what happens when someone becomes incapacitated and after they pass away.
You’ll have the opportunity to ask our team of experienced attorneys and knowledgeable probate paralegal, Tara, any questions you may have.
Join us at the beautiful Orange Blossom Opry, located just down the road from where Attorney Amy Pittman grew up. This is a great chance to gain peace of mind, connect with our team, and ensure your estate plan is in order—all in a welcoming and informative setting.
We can’t wait to see you there!

My Neighbor Said…
“I don’t need a will because I only have one beneficiary”
This couldn’t be further from the truth. Be cautious when taking legal advice from a friend. Even if you have only one beneficiary, your assets may still go through probate. The number of beneficiaries does not determine how long probate takes—instead, factors like the beneficiary’s relationship to you and the type of assets involved play a significant role in the process. Proper estate planning can help streamline this and ensure your wishes are carried out efficiently.
