Amy R. Pittman has been practicing as an Attorney in The Villages, Florida since 2007 and has a law office where she concentrates in Estate Planning (Wills, Trusts, Durable Power of Attorney for Financial and Health Care Surrogates) and Probate and Trust Administration. Her practice focuses on the distinctive estate planning needs of those who are working towards Retirement or who have already retired. It is Amy’s goal to help take the worry away and give her clients peace of mind in planning.
Amy’s personal mission is to make estate planning as accessible, efficient and streamlined as possible so that individuals and families are motivated to express their estate planning goals, and families do not have to deal with the disastrous fallout from lack of planning. Amy strives to help loved ones in implementing estate plans when a loved one passes away.
Amy enjoys creating relationships with her clients while passionately serving and educating them on estate planning and probate/trust administration. She is rooted in her community. She graduated from the University of Central Florida where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with Cum Laude Honors. Amy received her Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2005. After law school, Amy returned to Marion County to be close to her family and begin her law career.
Amy is a Florida native. She was born in Ocala and raised in Weirsdale along with her six siblings. Amy currently lives in Weirsdale with her wonderful and supportive husband, Josh and her children, Elle and Reed. In her limited free time, she loves reading and traveling. She also enjoys spending time with her large extended family, most of whom live in Marion County. As a young girl, Amy aspired to help others with their legal affairs by becoming an attorney. Amy feels very fortunate to be able to work where she grew up and to serve this amazing community.
Amy is a former member and a Rotary Partner of The Rotary Club of The Villages (morning club) and the local Estate Planning Council. In addition, she is a member of the Florida Bar Association, the Real Property, Probate and Trust Section of the Florida Bar Association and Wealth Counsel.
